Quick Tips

These are just a snapshot of the tips you will get when we assist you in planning your discount Disney vacation. We will change these monthly, if not more often, so come back regularly!

Go to a local craft store before your trip and pick up some inexpensive glow-in-the-dark neclaces, bracelets, etc. Your kids will love these during the night parades, and you will avoid paying high prices for them at the parks.

Once you get your tickets, keep your receipt and also take a picture of both the front and back of each ticket.  The numbers on the front and/or back will help Disney verify that it is a valid ticket if you should ever lose it.

Fastpass® Service machines work by scanning the magnetic stripe on your ticket.  There are four optical scanners within each machine, which means you can insert your ticket any way (up, down, frontwards, or backwards).  Since most people insert their ticket with the stripe down, the scanners on the bottom have more wear and tear than those on the top.  Try inserting your ticket with the stripe up to prevent any delays in receiving your Fastpass® Service ticket.

The best location for fireworks viewing at Epcot® is in either Norway, Mexico, Canada, or the UK. If the wind is blowing, make sure it is at your back for optimal viewing.

While waiting for a fast pass time in Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, head to Maharajah Jungle Trek® Attraction or Pangani Forest Exploration Trail® Walking Tour. These are both great viewing areas for animals such as birds, fish, tigers, and gorillas.  They even have an underwater hippo viewing area!  Kids will love the maps they can carry with them to spot all of the different animals.  There are also guides stationed along the trail to answer any of your questions and give additional information on the animals and their habitats. Our kids loved it!

A clear plastic coupon holder is great for holding tickets, money, etc. and it keeps everything from getting wet. You can get these in the office supply section of most retail stores for about one dollar.

If there are two available times for shows such as fireworks, musicals, perfomances, or a parade, the second showing will be less crowded.
