After traveling to Walt Disney World as a child, I knew I wanted to give my children the same magical experiences. Although we brought my oldest son when he was a toddler, we waited a few years to bring our youngest son due to a challenging medical condition. I was overwhelmed at the idea of traveling with him and Disney was intimidating. I did so much research about planning the perfect vacation and took the time to learn the ins and outs of disability services. It paid off. Our trip was so wonderful that Disney became our happy place and planning for our next trip began as soon as we arrived home. Years later, every trip still ends in planning the next one.
