I bring a wealth of firsthand knowledge from personal travel, along with professional training in Disney destinations and Universal Orlando. My love for Disney dates back to my own childhood trips, traveling with extended family and staying at Fort Wilderness Resort. I have fond memories of seeing fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant (still shown today!) from the beach there. I found a new appreciation after taking my own children to Disney World in 2016 and will never forget their reactions to their first fireworks experience, watching from the balcony of our room at the Polynesian Resort. As a former military family, we appreciated the familiarity and sense of “home” that Disney offered and have been back many times since, adding a few Disney cruises and Universal trips along the way.
